- SAP Recipe Development (PLM-RD): Develop, calculate, test, and manage recipes, formulas, and process steps company wide. After development, data can be transferred to production. SAP RD is the solution for the process industry (consumer goods, food & beverages, paints & varnishes), pharmaceuticals and chemicals. It is part of SAP ERP 6.0 and SAP S/4HANA.
- Classic SAP Recipe Management (PLM-RM): Predecessor to RD, based on EHS-Specification Database and part of SAP ERP (EHS, PP).
- Web-based SAP PLM Recipe Development (PLM-WUI-RCP) on ECC6: Has a different data base than classic Recipe management (PLM-RM), but also uses EHS-specification master data. SAP support will foreseeably be continued until 2030.
- SAP Project & Portfolio Management (SAP PPM, EPPM, CPM): Flexible support for your enterprise portfolio and project management (EPPM) processes, integration of finance and logistics information.
- SAP Engineering Record / Engineering Change Management (ER/ECM): Change BOMs, materials or documents and manage the changes from an engineering point of view in ECC6. With S/4HANA, also compliance relevant data is integrated.
