In der Chemieindustrie ist der Umstieg auf die SAP S\/4HANA Cloud, Public Edition<\/strong> (jetzt SAP Cloud ERP) bislang noch wenig verbreitet \u2013 insbesondere wegen der spezifischen Anforderungen in Bereichen wie Product Compliance und Gefahrgutmanagement<\/strong>. Die bewusst restriktive Standardisierung der Public Cloud stellt viele Unternehmen vor die Frage, ob sich diese Szenarien cloud-konform abbilden lassen.<\/p>

F\u00fcr ein international t\u00e4tiges Unternehmen der Spezialchemie konnten wir diese Szenarien erstmals in der Public Cloud realisieren. Aus Projektsicht standen insbesondere folgende Aspekte im Fokus:<\/p>

Standardisierung vs. Individualit\u00e4t:<\/strong><\/span>
Die SAP S\/4HANA Public Cloud bietet klar definierte Prozesse und Datenstrukturen, l\u00e4sst jedoch im Vergleich zu On-Premise-Systemen kaum Spielraum f\u00fcr kundenspezifisches Customizing oder zus\u00e4tzliche Felder \u2013 eine besondere Herausforderung f\u00fcr chemiespezifische Datenmodelle.<\/p>

Integration externer Software:<\/strong><\/span>
Gefahrgut- und Compliance-Daten sollen f\u00fcr den Kunden weiterhin aus einem externen System (ChemGes) bezogen werden, bis SAP die aktuellen L\u00fccken in der Product Compliance (z.B. Erstellung von Sicherheitsdatenbl\u00e4ttern) schlie\u00dft.<\/p>

Update- und Release-F\u00e4higkeit:<\/strong><\/span>
Alle Erweiterungen mussten vollst\u00e4ndig update-sicher sein, um die regelm\u00e4\u00dfigen SAP-Releases ohne Nacharbeiten zu erm\u00f6glichen.<\/p>

Internationale Skalierbarkeit:<\/strong><\/span>
Die L\u00f6sung sollte von Beginn an als Template f\u00fcr weitere L\u00e4nder-Rollouts nutzbar sein.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t

Die L\u00f6sung: Fit-to-Standard mit Side-by-Side Erweiterungen<\/h2>\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

Statt den SAP-Standard zu umgehen, wurde bewusst ein Public-Cloud-konformer Ansatz<\/strong> gew\u00e4hlt, der den SAP-Standard konsequent beibeh\u00e4lt, aber gezielt erg\u00e4nzte:<\/p>

  • Side-by-Side-Erweiterung: Entwicklung einer kundenspezifischen SAP Fiori App zur automatisierten \u00dcbernahme von Daten aus ChemGes<\/li>
  • Regelbasierte Verarbeitung der Daten, inklusive Anlage \u201eUnverpackter Produkte\u201c und Zuordnung \u201eVerpackter Produkte. Das System erkennt Varianten sowie Gefahrgutausl\u00f6ser selbstst\u00e4ndig.<\/li>
  • Pragmatische Nutzung bestehender SAP Strukturen: Abbildung chemiespezifischer Eigenschaften (z.B. VOC-Werte, Feststoffgehalt) \u00fcber existierende, ungenutzte Standard-Felder, wo der SAP Cloud-Standard aktuell keine eigenen Strukturen vorsieht.<\/li>
  • Automatisierte Reports: Entwicklung einer weiteren Fiori-App zur automatisierten Erstellung von Reports f\u00fcr die Poison Centre Notification.<\/li><\/ul>

    Die Erfahrungen aus diesem Projekt zeigen: SAP S\/4HANA Cloud, Public Edition (jetzt SAP Cloud ERP) ist auch f\u00fcr anspruchsvolle Product-Compliance und Gefahrgutprozesse<\/strong><\/span> in der Chemieindustrie eine realistische Option, wenn Architektur, Standardisierung und Erweiterungen sauber aufeinander abgestimmt werden. Statt auf maximale Individualisierung zu setzen, liegt der Schl\u00fcssel im bewussten Umgang mit dem Cloud-Standard bzw. den Clean-Core-Prinzipien<\/strong>. Eine Prise Pragmatismus <\/strong>ist notwendig, solange einzelne Funktionen (z. B. SDB-Erstellung) noch nicht im Standard verf\u00fcgbar sind.<\/p>

    Mit dem Go-Live des ersten Standorts wurde die Grundlage f\u00fcr weitere internationale Rollouts geschaffen.<\/strong> Die fr\u00fchzeitige Entscheidung f\u00fcr den Umstieg auf S\/4HANA Cloud reduziert Risiken im Hinblick auf das Ende der Mainstream Wartung f\u00fcr ECC 6.0 2027 erheblich.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
