Incident Management

Incident Management

As Part of the SAP Environment Health and Safety Management, the Incident Management solution provides an enterprise-wide platform to manage and support business processes for event recording, investigation, corrective action triggers, reporting and monitoring for safety and environmental incidents.

Incident Management is a part of the reactive measure, which takes place after an event (incident, hazard or near-miss) has taken place and helps deal with incidents, near-misses and Safety observations effectively.

Near Miss: It is an event that has the potential to cause harm to a person, assets, property, reputation or the environment, but which is narrowly avoided.

Incident: It is an instance of something happening, such as an event or an occurrence. Example: disaster incidents like tsunami, security incidents like thefts, environment incidents like release of ammonia etc.

Safety Observation: A targeted discussion between employees to better understand the risks involved in an activity. A safety observation is an observation of a person performing a task/activity. It is a tool used to change the behaviour patterns of an employee. It is used as a proactive tool to prevent near miss/incidents/injuries.

HELASOFT has excellent capability to provide solution for SAP EHSM.
